Alex Dehgan
Dr. Alex Dehgan is the CEO and co-founder of Conservation X Labs, which harnesses innovation and frontier technologies to prevent the 6th Mass Extinction. Alex previously served as the Chief Scientist of USAID and created the Agency’s Development Innovation Ventures program.

Investor and consultant Alexa Firmenich is the founder of Naia Trust, which supports early stage nature-based solutions, scientific research and new economic models. She is also a senior advisor at the Crowther Lab at ETH Zurich.

Alexander Gerfer is Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer of Würth Elektronik eiSos group, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of electronic and electromechanical components. He graduated from the engineering school of communications engineering at the Rheinische Akademie Köln and studied electrical engineer (FH) at the Rheinische Fachhochschule.

Alexis Olans Haass is a pioneering business executive with a focus on sustainable products and climate strategy. Most recently, she was the founding Chief Sustainability Officer at Arcadis, a global design, engineering, and infrastructure firm. She is also a member of the EU Women’s Climate Leadership Network and a global fellow at the League of Intrapreneurs.

Anne-Sophie Christmann is the General Manager of Regenerate Forum, a non-profit that aims to transform the Lake Constance region into a regenerative climate landscape. After studying viticulture and business administration, she worked as a research associate at the University of Hohenheim and now coordinates training programs on regenerative agriculture and other projects.

Anneke H. van Heteren is the Head of the Mammalogy Section at the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology in Munich. She holds a PhD in Palaeontology and specializes in mammalian ecology and evolution. She is also a private lecturer at LMU Munich.

Auguste von Bayern is a zoologist who seeks to understand how animals think. Her research interests comprise innovative and flexible reasoning skills and vocal learning abilities of parrots. Auguste graduated in Zoology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
