This DLD Munich session features Andreas Urschitz, Member of the Management Board of Infineon Technologies, setting the scene with a short impulse statement on how semiconductors and microelectronics are important in the quest against climate change. He is then joined for a discussion on climate tech und climate action by Anne Kawalerski, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Bloomberg Media, and David Kirkpatrick, founder of Techonomy.
A journalist and media entrepreneur, David Kirkpatrick founded Techonomy Media, which hosts the annual Techonomy conference on technology, innovation, and business and social progress. Kirkpatrick’s bestselling book, The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company that is Connecting the World, has been published in 32 languages.
Anne Kawalerski is the Global Chief Marketing Officer of Bloomberg Media, where she oversees all of Bloomberg Media’s marketing initiatives. Anne has played an integral role in building the Bloomberg Media brand and is responsible for managing and enhancing it internally and externally.
Andreas Urschitz serves as Chief Marketing Officer and Member of the Management Board of Infineon, a world leader in semiconductor solutions. He previously led Infineon’s Power & Sensor Systems Division, which focuses on power semiconductors driving energy-efficiency and sensors powering IoT systems.
