Speakers & Topics: DLD Future Hub

Experts from around the world will share insights about AI and the circular economy from September 9-11 in Munich. See who’s speaking and find out how you can join us!

Artificial intelligence is clearly a game changer in many industries, and AI in combination with the circular economy might just be the perfect formula for a better future. Imagine smart algorithms rethinking supply chains, materials and resource management. This creates huge business opportunities for innovative companies and entrepreneurs while protecting people and planet.

From September 9-11, 2025, the DLD Future Hub conference will highlight the impact of AI for business and society, but also present solutions to grow the positive impact of the circular economy – a concept that discards the idea of “take-make-waste” in favor of modular design, recycling, and saving both money and precious resources.

This three-day event at Amerikahaus Munich is a cooperation of DLD with BMW Group and the Bavarian AI Agency, whose BAIOSPHERE network inspires days two and three of the conference.

Please keep in mind that this preview can only give you a tiny glimpse at what to expect when you join us in Munich, and all information is subject to change without notice. DLD, as you know, is a highly dynamic conference, with our program still a work in progress. Please check back frequently here and here for further details.

Circular Day

September 9 will be all about smarter product design, clean energy, sustainable materials, and more planet-friendly ways of doing business – which is clearly the choice of all future positive innovators. You’ll also hear about preventing food waste, removing microplastics from water, and the circular economy as a response to geopolitical tensions.

BAIOSPHERE Days

On September 10 and 11, you’ll get a chance to connect with some of the world’s foremost AI researchers and hear about the impact of this transformative technology on all aspects of business and society.

We’ll shine a light on the latest developments in research labs around AI and robotics, the most promising applications, best practices, and where AI is delivering the most value. We’re also asking what AI is doing to trust and media, whether it can be truly creative, and how smart algorithms can help with drug discovery and helping us longer, healthier lives.

DLD Music School

Whether you’re aiming to spin records like a pro DJ or just feel like taking a break from a long conference day, this will be a special treat on September 10: The DLD Music School will kick off at 6 a.m. with Breakfast Beats at Café Luitpold, Brienner Strasse 11, Munich. After a short break, the event will continue with the Happening, Radio & Space session at Public Possession, Amiraplatz 3: From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. you’ll get to hear a hand-picked selection of music sets and culture talks, including a panel moderated by Hans Ulrich Obrist about the intersection of curating music and art. To round off the evening and dance through the night, head back to Café Luitpold after 10 p.m. where star DJ Haseeb Iqbal and friends will present a unique mix of Dub & Reggae beats along with musical insights.

This event is free to attend for anyone interested. No need for a ticket. The idea is to bring people together, from near and far, from inside and outside the DLD community, to create fresh vibes and connect the unexpected. Enjoy!
