Artificial intelligence is transforming how startups operate, enabling anyone to build sophisticated products without deep technical expertise, this DLD Future Hub panel discussion makes clear. The session, moderated by Thomas Zeller (UnternehmerTUM), brings together Eva Spannagl of OpenAI, Christian Adler (LoopID) and Fabien Rozzi (Make.com).
Vibe coding is an important part of this development, as it combines human ideas with AI-assisted software development. “The speed to translate a creative idea into a functional prototype – that is something that with GenAI now is much faster”, Fabien Rozzi notes.
Eva Spannagl agrees. “You don’t need to have a PhD in AI to build a great product”, she says. “We really make it possible for everyone to build something from scratch.”
Christian Adler highlights how AI is transforming every stage of the startup journey, from product development to internal workflows. This also increases the competition between young companies. “Usually startups disrupt corporates”, Adler says – now, with AI, the industry is getting to a point “where startups get disrupted by startups”.
