The value of nature in modern life lies at the heart of this DLD Nature session with former Alpine ski champion Felix Neureuther and Stefan Schwarz, CEO of Swarovski Optik, moderated by DLD founder Steffi Czerny.
Felix Neureuther created a foundation with the goal of bringing kids to sports and outdoor activities, educating them about nature, so that “they don’t spend too much time in front of a smartphone”, Neureuther says.
One of his foundation’s programs, called Naturhelden (Nature Heroes), brings 80,000 kids to sports annually, partnering with 500 schools to provide education outside the classroom and in nature.
Stefan Schwarz highlights his company’s products designed to bring people closer to nature, such as binoculars with AI-powered animal identification.
