How big is the disruptive potential of AI really – for businesses and employees, but also for the creators of this technology and their investors?
That’s the question at the heart of this captivating DLD panel discussion with Jonas Andrulis (AlephAlpha), Adam Bittlingmayer (ModelFront) and Christian Teichmann (Burda Principal Investments), moderated by Alexander Kudlich (468 Capital).
“At Aleph Alpha, we’re doing fundamental R & D, but we’re also bringing AI into production”, Andrulis says. “We’re partnering in with companies that own the most critical, complex use cases and make sure AI is trustworthy and safe and sovereign.”
ModelFront, meanwhile specializes in “predicting if Google Translate is wrong”, as Adam Bittlingmayer explains. The value lies in verifying automatically generated translations – which have become very good but not 100 percent accurate, as Bittlingmayer points out.
For investors, AI poses “a massive opportunity”, Christian Teichmann says, not least because “every enterprise needs an AI strategy” – making every enterprise a potential customer for successful startups.
