Alinda Vermeer is the Director of the Limelight Foundation, a philanthropic organization in the Netherlands that supports journalism and civil society organizations. A lawyer by training, Alinda was previously the CEO of Media Defence in London, where she focused on the vulnerabilities in global information systems and the pressures facing independent journalism.
