As part of this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF), around 600 guests followed the invitation to the Burda DLD Nightcap in Davos. On Tuesday evening, the Burda board members Paul-Bernhard Kallen, Andreas Rittstieg, Martin Weiss, Philipp Welte, Stefan Winners and DLD managing director Steffi Czerny welcomed the guests to the annual meeting of the influential. In 1995, the party took place for the first time in Davos and has long since established itself as a social highlight of the WEF and the glamorous conclusion of the DLD conference in Munich.
Once again this year, Burda has succeeded in bringing together an impressive mix of international business leaders, politicians, investors, artists and media makers for the Burda DLD Nightcap in Davos. Among the guests were Frank Appel (CEO Deutsche Post), Christoph Franz (Roche), Erich Harsch (CEO dm Drogerie Markt), Wolfgang Ischinger (Munich Security Conference), Professor Jeff Jarvis, Bild editor-in-chief Tanit Koch, WirtschaftsWoche editor-in-chief Miriam Meckel, entrepreneur Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, Philipp Rösler, Oliver Samwer (Rocket Internet), RTL chief Anke Schäferkordt, media entrepreneur Christiane zu Salm and many more.
Around 600 guests enjoyed finger food and cocktails from London’s “LiquidChefs” at the Belvédère Hotel. For the sixth time, original brass music from Lake Tegernsee provided for a hearty Bavarian atmosphere in the Swiss Alps.
