Tom Middendorp is the Chair of the International Military Council on Climate and Security (IMCCS). A retired General, Middendorp previously served as the Chief of Defense of the Netherlands Armed Forces. In his work he experienced how climate change is already acting as a risk multiplier and has become a matter of national security.
