A prominent mycologist and author of eight books, Paul Stamets is the founder and owner of Fungi Perfecti. He has identified numerous new species of psilocybin mushrooms, and a species has been named in his honor: Psilocybe stametsii. His research is considered groundbreaking, influencing ecosystem restoration efforts globally.
