Ifo Institute

Clemens Fuest is President of the Ifo Institute, a leading economic think-tank. He is also a Professor for Economics and Public Finance at LMU, directs the university’s Center for Economic Studies (CES) and serves as Executive Director of CESifo GmbH. Clemens Fuest has published widely in German and international academic journals. His research areas are economic and fiscal policy, taxation, and European integration.
