Renewable Revolution
Hayden Wood is the cofounder and CEO of Bulb, a renewable energy supplier that uses technology to optimize electricity sourcing from wind, solar and hydro in a cost-effective way. Founded in 2015, Bulb has become one of the fastest-growing startups in the UK.
“We’re not vertically integrated, so we don't own wind turbines, solar panels and hydro electric plants but we purchase the power from those companies, and then we sell it to users,” Wood explained in conversation with Techonomy editor David Kirkpatrick.
The DLD Munich 2020 session covers everything from the shifting values of consumers, the impact of climate change on the energy industry to the future of renewables.
