Hydrogen is an enormously rich source of energy – not easy to handle but creating much buzz in the cleantech industry. How big is the potential for hydrogen to power the world in a climate-friendly way? What are the challenges, where do experts see the biggest opportunities?
This DLD conference session features Katherina Reiche, Chairwoman of the Board at Westenergie; Christophe Schramm, Vice-President Strategy, Marketing and Product at Symbio, an innovative supplier of fuel cell system technologies for hydrogen mobility; and Pierre-Etienne Franc, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of FiveT Hydrogen and Hy24, which manages the largest infrastructure fund dedicated to hydrogen.

Katherina Reiche is Chairwoman of the Board at Westenergie AG and focuses on sustainable energy production. She holds a degree in chemistry and was a member of the German Bundestag for 18 years, including 7 years on the German Federal Cabinet.
Christophe Schramm is Vice-President Strategy, Marketing, Product at Symbio, an innovative supplier of fuel cell system technologies for hydrogen mobility. Based in Lyon (France), Schramm oversees Symbio’s global strategy and product roadmap.
