Since regaining their independence in 1991, the Baltic states have undergone a deep transformation – pioneering the concept of a fully digital society.
Estonia is a prime example. Its e-government concept allows citizens perform almost all their official duties online. The country has the highest number of startups per capita in Europe, attracting the highest per capita venture capital investment. Latvia and Lithuania have developed similarly impressive digital ecosystems.
