Dirk Rossmann
Dirk Rossmann is the founder of ROSSMANN, one of Europe’s largest drugstore chains. He opened Germany’s first self-service drugstore in 1972. Today, his company employs more than 60,000 people and operates some 4,500 branches. Dirk Rossmann considers addressing climate change and its impacts on our planet as the most urgent issue of our time.

Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen is a physician and founder of the NGO “Healthy Planet – Healthy People” (Stiftung Gesunde Erde – Gesunde Menschen). An expert on climate and planetary health communication, he has sold more than 5 million books and is a prominent TV personality in Germany.

Felix Neureuther is the most successful German alpine skier in World Cup history. He created the Felix Neureuther Foundation to encourage children to be active and address deficits in brain development through special training programs. In 2024, Felix was appointed UN Ambassador for “Plastic Waste in the Mountains.”

Ferdinand Ludwig is Professor for Green Technologies in Landscape Architecture at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and founding partner of OLA – Office for Living Architecture in Stuttgart. He is also the author of the book “Growing Architecture – How to Design and Build with Trees”. His focus lies on architectural concepts in which plants play a central role.

Dr. Frank Glaw is a zoologist and specializes in the biodiversity of amphibians and reptiles of Madagascar. He leads the Department of Vertebrates at the Bavarian State Collection of Zoology, has authored numerous publications and is actively involved in assessments for the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
