DLD Munich 2025
January 16-18, 2025
We’re celebrating 20 years of shaping the future!
DLD began in 2005 with the mission to explore how the Internet would change our world. Today, a new set of technologies is shaping how we work and live – from AI, robotics and biotechnology to self-driving cars, nano satellites, quantum computers and many more.
But our goal remains the same: DLD brings together a diverse group of business leaders, world-class scientists, artists and designers, startup founders and investors – people who not only imagine a better future but are actively creating it. Over the course of three days, top experts will share insights under this year’s motto Future Positive.

What DLD Speakers Say
- McKinsey & CompanyDLD is like a mental spa. You come and you’re refreshed with ideas and thoughts and challenges. And above all, it’s the people. Steffi and team have created something unique.
- AmazonIf you work for a large American company, it is important to hear voices from all over the world. Because it’s easy to get locked into your own echo chamber in the U.S.
- Safaricom PLCDLD is the highlight of the beginning of the year for me, and for many people in the tech industry. Once you’re a DLD member, you become part of the community and you continue to add to the conversations that I hope will shape the future.
- Exponential ViewDLD is always in my calendar because I love coming here. Because of the energy, because of what you learn – but most importantly, because of the people that you meet.
- Artist & InnovatorI couldn’t be a bigger fan of DLD. There is something magical about the atmosphere and the warmth, and the personal connections. I feel like DLD has the best people, it has the best conversations and it has the best intentions.
- Union Square VenturesDLD is my favorite conference because it is a casual atmosphere, but at the same time it brings together people from very different backgrounds in intense exchanges that spur new ideas. Every time, I come away from DLD with a new idea to pursue.
