DLD Munich 2023: Speakers & Topics
The best place to see the future is at the foot of the Alps. DLD has a long tradition of inviting tomorrow’s stars today, from Nobel Prize winners to startup founders, and we’re ready to do it again.
DLD Munich is back in its familiar time slot, right at the beginning of the year, from January 12-14, 2023. Much else will be new, exciting and full of innovation. This includes our venue, the brand-new House of Communication in Munich’s trendy Werksviertel district – close to downtown, buzzing with life, and home to our partner, media agency Serviceplan Group.

While we continue to work on the DLD Munich program right until kick-off, here’s a sneak preview of speakers and topics. Of note, even though this list is long we cannot include everything and everyone.
This was a fantastic event but it lies in the past. You can watch videos of all sessions on our conference review page. If you subscribe to our newsletter we can automatically keep you in the loop regarding future events.
Powering Sustainable Economies
Gone are the days when caring about people and planet was seen as bad for business. Today, the opposite is true: Customers, investors and employees expect companies to develop sustainable and responsible business models – think ESG investing, diversity and equality.
Mitigating the effects of climate change, and transitioning to green energy, are equally important to safeguarding the economy. DLD23 will shine a light on these important developments from different angles, with many thought leaders in their fields sharing their ideas.

First-Mover Advantage: Frontier Technologies
When you look at the world beyond NOW – our motto this year – there’s a lot on the horizon that promises to make our lives easier and doing business more efficient. Think satellite data, quantum computing, advanced robotics, blockchain, web3, biotechnology and, of course, artificial intelligence.
All of these technologies are still evolving and at various stages of maturity. So it’s a good idea to get expert insights if you want to take full advantage of them.

The best ideas often seem to come out of nowhere – when you’re taking a break from work, watching a show, reading a book, visiting a museum or racing through virtual words. That’s why culture, arts, media and entertainment are an essential part of DLD: they make our lives richer, bring joy, happiness and bliss, paving the way to success.
