    Michael Mehringer

    Paralzyed after a serious motorcycle accident, Michael “Michi” Mehringer is the first person in Europe with tetraplegia to have a brain-computer interface implanted using microelectrodes. He is part of a unique research project at the TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar and the Technical University of Munich. Michi is now able to control a computer cursor using only his thoughts.
